Individual Lawn Burial
Hearthside Pet Cemetery offers natural burial of companion animals such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, and more. Pets are buried in an eco-friendly canvas bag specially designed for sensitive handling of pet remains. Families can provide special blankets, toys or other mementos to be buried with their pet and can choose to personalize the burial bag with messages or pictures.
Individual plots for pets up to 25 pounds: $375
Individual plots for pets 26 – 50 pounds: $450
Individual plots for pets 51-100 pounds: $550
Individual plots for pets 101-150 pounds: $635
Burial of cremated pet remains: $275
Each burial includes individual plot, sensitive and caring handling of your pet, an individualized cast aluminum memorial marker, a custom painted watercolor of your pet, and grief support. Each burial package also includes a pet obituary with picture which will be posted on Hearthside Pet Cemetery’s website - a perfect way of sharing the unique story and personality of your pet with your friends and family.
After the first year, there is a $20 annual maintenance fee for your first plot and $10 per additional plot.
Custom Pet Portrait
All packages include a custom water-color painting of your pet. Portraits are one-of-a kind creations by local artist Allison Gray, who has painted upwards of 3,000 pet portraits. Portraits are created based on a photograph the pet parent submits and will be mailed to you 2-4 weeks after the burial. Customers can choose a rainbow background to reflect their pet’s crossing of the rainbow bridge or opt for the artist to create a pleasing background based on your pet’s coloring.
Additional Information
If you have additional pets which you’d like to add to the same plot in the future, please discuss with us before burial so we can plan accordingly. Adding a second pet to the same plot at a future date will be half the current rates based on weight of pet, plus any charges if an updated marker is desired.

Pick up is available within a 30-mile radius from Hearthside. Mileage beyond 30 is at rate of $3.00 per mile.
